The Region: La Pybouliere is a small hamlet in a rural farming district 2km. from Mouilleron-en-Pareds, an old village with shops, restaurants, bars, a bank , churches and 2 museums. This is a place of peace and quiet.
The countryside is rolling hills with several windmills on a ridge near the village. In general, there is excellent cycling, fishing and walking in the area. There are many wildlife flowers and birds of prey. Local farming is cattle mainly beef, corn, sunflowers, rabbits and ducks.
Three larger towns are within 20 minutes by car with shops and large super-markets; La Chataigneraie, Chantonnay and Fontenay-le-Comte. Roche-Sur-Yon the capital is 60 minutes away.
